Meet Sameer Khatiwoda: Our Visionary Executive Director

Born in Lalbandi, Sarlahi, Sameer Khatiwoda's adventure journey began early amidst Dolakha's mountainous terrain.He became actively interested in tourism in 2010 and had engagements with people from different cultures across the globe while enjoying the multi-ethnic blend of Nepal.

In 2012, Sameer received a certification in guiding which allowed him to expand his activities into other regions of Nepal tourism. This included iconic places such as Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath as well as the ever famous Everest base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp, Langtang Valley, Upper Mustang. His passion has allowed him to help a variety of adventurous achieve every single travelers goals.

Sameer completed his Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) in 2016, which helped him acquire the management and operational strategies to stay on top of the fast paced tourism industry. But that's not all, his travels to countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, India, Netherlands,France, Germany, Belgium, Austria, and Luxembourg have allowed him to travel within Europe over 10 times giving him insight the dos and don’ts from these vastly different cultures. Having experienced trips all around the world has enabled Sameer to craft some of the best arrangements for tourists coming to Nepal.

His expertise allows him to keep track of entire operations at Himalayan Dream Team Treks & Tours Pvt Ltd, from trekking to expeditions. This makes him the first go to for anyone seeking to start exploring the Himalayan region.
