In 2008 Eric and me had our first introduction to Nepal, and immediately a grand plan: clmbing the Merapeak (what an experience!). We arrived in Kathmandu and really: you hate it or you love it, with us the latter: you have to immerse yourself in the colors, the disorder, the sounds, the atmosphere... and above all you feel safe. 

After the beautiful climb to the top of the Mera (in a group) several other, very different treks followed (with the 2 of us), organised and tailored by Himalayadreamteam. Rolwaling (Pachermopeak), Daulaghiritrekking, Pisang, Anapurnabasecamp (Tentpeak), Anapurnatrail, Manaslutrekking + Tsumvallei,  Goyko + EBC and Kalapathar + Islandpeak, Mustang, Lantang, Makalubasecamp, Kalenchunga (BaseCamp Nord and South) ......what a list!

What attracts us? Especially the super friendly people, the hospitality, the beautiful, overwhelming nature, the smells and the colors, the diversity, the culture and of course the mighty mountains.....Sometimes it's really hard, demanding, emotional....but it's more than worth it. After all these years it always feels like coming home...
