Ghale Gaon is a beautiful village occupied by Gurung people, an indigenous group of Nepal, living in the green hills at the feet of the great mountains. The views from the villages stretches from Buddha himal, Himalchuli, Manasalu, Peak 26 to the northeast Mt. Lamjung, Mt. Annapurna I and II and Mt. Machhapuchhare. We arrive at this beautiful village after a two days trek from Beshisahar, the headquarter of the Lamjung district. After one night stay in Ghalegaon with cultural shows of local inhabitants we move to Dudhapokhari which is a sacred lake and also a major pilgrimage site. After visiting the lake we trek down to Beshi Sahar via the same route. The trail passes through the dense forests, villages and awesome waterfalls. Colorful rhododendrons, chirping sound of many species of birds on the trail simply takes all the trekkers close to the essence of all that nature can offer. This trekking is especially suitable for families.
