Upon arrival in Paro, our team will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Rest and explore the charming town of Paro.
A warm-up hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery, a sacred site perched on a cliff. Overnight in Paro.
Start the trek from Shana and walk through lush forests along the Paro River, gradually ascending to Thangthangkha campsite.
A scenic trail leads us to Jangothang, the base camp of Mount Jomolhari. Overnight camping.
Explore the area with short hikes to Jomolhari Glacier or Tshophu Lakes.
Cross the Nyile La Pass (4,890m) with stunning mountain views before descending to Lingshi village.
A shorter trek through yak pastures and remote settlements, with time to explore Chebisa village.
During these days, you will cross several high mountain passes, including Jare La (4,785m), Shinge La (5,010m), and Gangla Karchung La (5,320m). You will pass through remote villages like Thanza and Woche and experience some of Bhutan’s most isolated and breathtaking landscapes.
The final descent from the high mountains to Sephu, where we take a scenic drive back to Thimphu.
After breakfast, transfer to Paro Airport for your onward journey.

After a scenic flight from Kathmandu, you arrive in Paro, where your local guide and driver will welcome you and take you to your hotel. After settling in, you'll explore Paro, a town where tradition thrives, with locals in traditional attire, pristine streets, and a landscape filled with farmhouses, temples, and monasteries.
Depending on your arrival time, you may visit Dumtse Lhakhang, known for its intricate wall paintings, or Kichu Lhakang, Bhutan’s oldest monastery, exuding a deep spiritual atmosphere.
