Welcome to Nepal! A Himalayan Dream Team representative will welcome you with a Nepali flower at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and facilitate your private transfer to the hotel. You can relax and recover from your journey at the hotel and, when you feel ready, enjoy a gentle stroll around the neighborhood to get your first taste of the city.
As an introduction to your journey, we would like to treat you to dinner at one of Kathmandu's excellent eateries, which is guaranteed to give you the best impression of authentic local cuisine and hospitality.
(2nd Day- Nepal and Tibet Tour)
Following your breakfast at the hotel, your guide will take you on a full day exploration of the profound cultural and spiritual heritage of Kathmandu, taking you to multiple UNESCO world heritage sites.
Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple): You will start the day at this lofty Buddhist stupa resting on a hill with its eye catching views of the entire Kathmandu Valley. This site is one of the oldest by gaining importance as a relious center in Nepal where it is worshiped by Buddhists and Hindus.
Pashupatinath Temple: You will then proceed to Nepal’s most revered Hindu temple complex located on the banks of Bagmati River. Here, you will observe traditional cremation services and you will see sadhus (Hindu religious hermits) practicing their spirituality.
Kathmandu Durbar Square: You can take a walk at the serene old royal palace region of historic Kathmandu after lunch. This square is a living exposition of older temples and courtyards along with houses sculptured and wooden buildings in newari style architecture.

We drive westward to the stunning hill town of Bandipur after breakfast. Formerly a thriving transit center, Bandipur is famous for its preserved Newari culture, serene streets, and breathtaking Himalayan views. Spend the rest of the day in this pleasant town.

After the breakfast service in Pokhara, we undertake a drive towards Chitwan which lies in the lower Terai region of Nepal. The drive is approximately 5-6 hours long, covering the hills and rivers to the plains. As you reach your jungle lodge, you will be greeted cordially, and given a brief overview of the jungle activities that you will take part in.
You will take part in the first jungle activity like a guided village walk to soak in the Tharu culture. If you prefer a more serene afternoon activity, you can watch the sunset by the Rapti river in peace. Later in the evening, you will relish a traditional Tharu cultural dance show followed by a sumptuous dinner at the Lodge.
(8th Day- Nepal and Tibet Tour)
Focus will remain on the diverse landscape that is found in Chitwan national park which happens to be the first National Park in Nepal, and also a UNESCO heritage site. Post breakfast, get ready for the entire day of thrilling jungle activities. When you arrive at Gonggar Airport in Tibet, a Tibetan tour guide will be waiting to receive you. From the airport, we will take a pleasant 2-hour drive in a car to Lhasa, the essence of Tibetan civilization and religion. (11th Day- Nepal and Tibet Tour)
We commence with Lhasa’s captivating exploration with our local Tibetan guide. In the morning, we pay a visit to Sera Monastery, one of the best preserved monasteries in Tibet. Sera Monastery is among the most stunning monasteries in Tibet. With its white washed walls and golden roofs, Sera is home to several hundreds monks who live and study, debate and discuss and Buddhist philosophy in its peaceful courtyards.
In the afternoon, we Visit Norbulingka - the summer palace of the former Dalai Lama which is encricled by Transquil Gardens. Our next stop is the Jokhang Temple, the most sacred site in Tibetan Buddhism. Here you will witness pilgrims worldwide coming from different regions in tibet making devotional circuits. Epilogue, all of us went for a walk in the evocative Barkhor Market which is one of the not too many pedestrian, narrow and thickly shops filled with local crafters.
(12th Day- Nepal and Tibet Tour)
The highlight of today sightseeing is the Potala Palace, a standing testament structure of Tibetan Buddhism and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This place has been once the winter residence of the Dalai Lama, enclosed by Lhasa. Your eItinerary. After lunch, we continue to the Drepung Monastery which was once the largest in the worl, housing around 10,000 monks at its peak. (13th Day- Nepal and Tibet Tour)
This is a free day to spend in Lhasa. There are no planned activities for you today. You may want to go back to one of the monasteries that you enjoyed, have a moment of solitude in a quaint café that faces the Barkhor, or enjoy watching the rhythm of life in form of pilgrims circling the Jokhang Temple pausing to buy souvenirs or leave offerings along the way.
If you want to see other places, optional visits to the Tibetan Medical Centre, the scenic Ganden Monastery, or Tsurphu Monastery can be organized for you. All these places offer a deeper understanding of Tibetan culture, spirituality, and tradition.
(14th Day- Nepal and Tibet Tour)
We will have breakfast in Lhasa, then transfer to Gonggar Airport for your flight to Kathmandu. As you leave Tibet and enter the tranquil Kathmandu Valley, take in the stunning views of the Himalayas once more.
Kathmandu has much to offer in terms of activities, from white-water rafting to mountain biking, shopping your heart out in the Kathmandu valley to enjoying Everest Mountain flights. The choice is all yours. As soon as you land in Kathmandu, our team will be ready to assist you with planning all your needs.
On the last evening, we will meet up for a lovely farewell dinner at a nice restaurant. We for sure will have a great time together while reliving the moments and sharing some great food as well.
