Welcome to Nepal! Your Nepal Tour Package from Malaysia begins upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. After completing immigration and collecting your luggage, you will meet a representative from Himalayan Dream Team, who will welcome you and assist with your transfer to the hotel.

The drive from the airport to your hotel normally takes around 30–45 minutes, depending on Kathmandu traffic. After check-in, you can rest after your flight from Kuala Lumpur and gradually settle into the atmosphere of Nepal.

If your flight arrives early enough, you may take a relaxed walk around the nearby streets, browse local shops or simply enjoy some free time at the hotel.

In the evening, we invite you to a welcome dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant, giving you your first taste of Nepali cuisine and hospitality. It is also a pleasant opportunity to meet your local team and discuss the journey ahead.

Discover Kathmandu's Cultural Heritage and Continue to the Hills

After breakfast, meet your local guide and begin a fascinating introduction to the cultural and spiritual heritage of the Kathmandu Valley.

Your first visit is Pashupatinath Temple, one of Nepal's most important Hindu pilgrimage sites. Located beside the sacred Bagmati River, the temple complex is an important place of worship and religious ceremonies. Non-Hindus cannot enter the main temple itself, but the surrounding area and viewpoints provide an opportunity to observe the complex and learn about Hindu traditions in Nepal.

Continue to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the most important Buddhist sites in Kathmandu. Walk around the enormous white stupa alongside pilgrims, monks and local residents while your guide explains the significance of the prayer wheels, monasteries and Buddhist traditions surrounding Boudhanath.

You then travel to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, where traditional brick streets, temples, courtyards, palaces and woodcarving preserve much of the character of the old Kathmandu Valley. Take time to walk through the historic centre and learn about the Newar culture and craftsmanship for which Bhaktapur is famous.

After completing the sightseeing program, continue by private vehicle to Nagarkot (2,175 m), a peaceful hill destination east of Kathmandu.

Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy the cooler hill atmosphere. If the weather is clear, the late afternoon may offer beautiful views across the Himalayan ranges as the sun begins to set.

Himalayan Sunrise and Journey to Pokhara

Wake early for one of the memorable moments of your Nepal tour from Malaysia – sunrise in Nagarkot.

On a clear morning, watch the first light appear over the Himalayan horizon. Nagarkot is known for its broad mountain panorama, although the exact peaks visible always depend on weather, cloud and atmospheric conditions.

After enjoying the morning views, return to the hotel for breakfast and prepare for the journey to Pokhara (822 m).

The drive takes you from the hills surrounding Kathmandu toward central Nepal, passing river valleys, small settlements, terraced farmland and changing landscapes along the way. There will be opportunities to stop for refreshments and lunch during the journey.

Road travel times in Nepal can vary considerably because of traffic, road construction, weather and highway conditions, so today's program is intentionally kept flexible.

Upon reaching Pokhara, check in at your hotel and enjoy a well-earned rest. If time and energy allow, you may take an evening stroll around the Lakeside area and Phewa Lake.

Sunrise over the Annapurna Range and Discover Pokhara

Your day begins early with a drive from Pokhara to Sarangkot (1,592 m), one of the best-known Himalayan viewpoints in the Pokhara Valley.

On a clear morning, watch the sunrise illuminate the mountains of the Annapurna region, with views that can include Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and the distinctive Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). The mountain panorama depends on seasonal weather and visibility.

After enjoying the sunrise, return to Pokhara for breakfast before beginning your guided sightseeing tour.

Visit Bindabasini Temple, one of Pokhara's important Hindu temples, before continuing to the impressive Seti River Gorge, where the Seti River has carved a narrow channel through the valley.

Continue to Mahendra Cave and Bat Cave, two well-known limestone caves in northern Pokhara. Your guide will explain the geological features and local significance of these natural attractions.

Later, visit Davis Falls, where water disappears dramatically into an underground passage, followed by nearby Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, an important religious cave dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Your sightseeing continues to the World Peace Pagoda, situated on a hill overlooking the Pokhara Valley. From here, enjoy beautiful views across Phewa Lake, Pokhara city and, in clear weather, the Himalayan skyline.

Depending on available time, you may also enjoy an optional boat ride on Phewa Lake, with views toward the surrounding hills and the Tal Barahi Temple located on a small island in the lake.

After a full day exploring Pokhara, return to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Scenic Return Journey to Kathmandu

After breakfast, leave Pokhara and begin your overland journey back to Kathmandu (1,400 m).

The drive follows Nepal's central hill highways through river valleys, roadside settlements, terraced hills and rural landscapes. Stops will be made along the way for refreshments, lunch and short breaks.

The actual journey time can vary according to traffic, weather, roadworks and road conditions, so we recommend treating this as a full travel day rather than scheduling important activities immediately after arrival.

If road conditions, arrival time and your energy level permit, an optional visit to Chandragiri Hills can be arranged. The cable car climbs from the Kathmandu Valley to the hilltop, where clear weather can provide wide views across the valley and towards the Himalayan ranges.

If you prefer, you can travel directly to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure.

Farewell Nepal – Until We Meet Again

Enjoy your final breakfast in Nepal. Depending on your international flight departure time, you may have some free time for a relaxed morning, last-minute shopping or a final walk around Kathmandu.

At the appropriate time, a representative from Himalayan Dream Team will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport. We normally recommend allowing sufficient time for Kathmandu traffic and international airport procedures.

After check-in, you will board your flight home to Malaysia, bringing your 6-day journey through Kathmandu, Nagarkot and Pokhara to an end.
