Our Women Only Trek to Annapurna Base Camp is meant for women all over the world who yearn to experience the beauty of the Himalayas whilst building bonds and strengthening their sense of self in the company of other women. This trek combines the beauty of the Himalayas with a cultural experience led by women guides. While the Himalayas can be a wonder, walking as a group of women is just as amazing and forming bonds of friendship is just as important.
Your adventure starts in Kathmandu, where you will experience Nepal’s cultural wealth by a guided tour to the Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath and Kathmandu Durbar Square UNESCO World Heritage Sites. This cultural immersion serves as the perfect prelude to your flight to Pokhara to get to the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary.

During the 14-day Annapurna Base Camp trek, we will follow the classic route - Nayapul, Ghandruk, Chhomrong, Bamboo, Dovan, Deurali and Machhapuchhre Base Camp - and finish with the stunning Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m). Every day is unique as you get to see different things - rhododendron forests, terraced villages, glacier carved valleys and majestic mountains surrounding you on all sides.
Depending on your starting and ending points, and local transfers, the trek distance may vary between 70 to 115 km. Most guests begin their journey on a scenic 25-minute flight, while others board a six to seven hour tourist bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara, before the trek-commences.

Beyond adventure, the program reflects Himalayan Dream Team’s commitment to empowering local women. We proudly employ and train female guides and porters, promote fair working conditions, and reinvest in community initiatives- inspiring young girls in mountain villages to see guiding as a career of independence and opportunity.
With expert leadership and a thoughtful pace, the Women Only Annapurna Base Camp Trek 2026 is designed to help you discover the Himalayas and the best of yourself in a positive and safe environment.
Across two purposeful departures each year, this women-only journey delivers exactly what many travelers seek: a safe, uplifting team, a clear plan, and the freedom to enjoy the Himalaya at your pace. Choosing the right time for the trek gives you the most out of the Annapurna region. Each season has its character, but spring and autumn have the best combination of temperatures, skies and mountain culture to enjoy.
Spring (March to May)
Spring is a great time to trek the Annapurna Sanctuary. With the weather being mild and the visibility being almost perfect, the hillsides will be filled with blooming rhododendrons and the national flower of Nepal, the 10 ranged clear morning and warm days made for perfect photography on the hike.
Autumn (September to November)
The Autumn season (September to November) is the most popular trekking season in Nepal. It is filled with crisp air, stable weather, and unreal views of the Himalayas. After the monsoon, the hills turn lush and green, and Dashain and Tihar festivals bring vibrant color and joy to the journey.
Winter (December to February)
The chillest season of the year will bring snow on the trails and on the Himalayas but also will bring peace and quiet and most of the trekkers will avoid the…
Monsoon (June to August)
During the monsoon season, there is frequent rain, cloud cover, and leeches on the lower trails. However, for those who appreciate solitude, the rich, green landscapes of early or late monsoon trekking can still be rewarding. This is especially true for rain-shadow areas like Upper Mustang or Nar Phu Valley.

Our third time in Nepal was truly the most special one yet. This time, my four friends and I went on a women-only trek to Annapurna Base Camp, and the experience was nothing short of magical. From start to finish, Himalayan Dream Team made sure we felt safe, empowered, and fully immersed in the beauty of Nepal.
A huge thank you to Kalpana, our incredible guide, and to Meena, Sita and Pabitra, who not only helped carry our bags but also filled our journey with warmth, stories and laughter. Trekking through the breathtaking Annapurna region with an all-female team gave us a deep and authentic connection to Nepal. its landscapes, its people and its rich culture with warmth.
The entire team was incredibly supportive and flexible, adjusting plans when needed due to illness or unexpected challenges. Their kindness and professionalism made a world of difference, allowing us to truly enjoy every step of the journey. It was also inspiring to trek with a company that empowers local women, ensuring they have opportunities to guide and share their deep knowledge of their homeland.
Our hearts were full of gratitude when we left Nepal, and yes tears were shed at Tribhuvan International Airport as we said our goodbyes. But one thing is certain, we will be back.
Thank you, Indira, Kalpana, and the entire Himalayan Dream Team, for an experience we will cherish forever.
With love from,

My seven girlfriends and I had an unforgettable experience trekking to Annapurna Base Camp with Himalayan Dream Team. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, allowing us to fully enjoy the adventure.
A special thanks to Indira for arranging this seamless trip and to our incredible guide, Susmita, whose knowledge, kindness, and energy made the trek even more special. Me and my girl friend Emily from Singapore did ABC trekking in April , we have just come back from the remarkable Women Only Annapurna Base Camp Trek which was guided by the amazing Shreya and our lovely carrier Sita didi. Shreya, with her vast understanding of with the mountains and culture, made the trek even more enjoyable through her encouragement. I joined the Women-Only Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Himalayan Dream Team in March - 2025 along with two close friends from Australia, together with two of my friends from Australia. We were fortunate to meet some wonderful ladies from Malaysia and the Netherlands by arrival in Kathmandu. Right from our arrival in Kathmandu, it was all clear that everything was organized for us by Indira from Himalayan Dream Team. Indira was warm and caring and worked tirelessly to make sure everything went according to plan, which was harrowing given the many moving parts.
Our female guide, Soni, was absolutely incredible, her knowledge, encouragement and calm leadership made us feel safe and empowered every step of the way. I was initially nervous about the high altitude, but the team paced the trek perfectly with proper acclimatization and constant support. Reaching base camp together felt like a shared victory.
What made this trip even more special was the genuine bond we all formed as women laughing, sharing life stories, and cheering each other on. It wasn’t just a trek- it was a beautiful journey of friendship and strength. I’ll forever be grateful to the Himalayan Dream Team for making this dream come true.
Namaste !
your friend Emma .

This was my first time in Nepal in April - 2025, and I did this unforgettable trek with my two sisters, it was truly one of the most meaningful adventures we've ever shared. With an all women group and local guides, it felt deeply empowering to trek to Annapurna Base Camp. Indira from the Himalayan Dream Team gave us Shreya, who was our guide, and our caring porter didis. All of them were extremely warm, professional, and kept attending to our every need. Their care made the trek more enjoyable and comfortable.
While the scenery was breathtaking, what I loved more was the spirit of sisterhood. From local women in mountain villages laughing with us on the trails to having tea with us, every day was full of connection and discovery. After the trek, we also took part in a Nepali cooking class, which was such a fun and delicious way to end our journey. We felt completely safe, supported and inspired throughout. I returned home with stronger legs, a fuller heart and friendships I will always cherish.
Lots of love to beautiful team.

I could not have dreamt of better planning than what they had arranged from the female guide and porters to the gorgeous mountains. Each moment was wonderful, be it spotting elephants in Chitwan, the purchasing madness in Kathmandu, or the enjoyable Nepali cooking lessons.
To the whole team, you are exceptional. To each and every one of you who helped decided what I was capable of and kept in mind my physical limits, we cannot thank you enough. Indira and the Himalayan Dream Team, we will always treasure the experience that you provided us.

From our arrival in Kathmandu, we felt safe and warmly welcomed by the team. The local female guides and porters created trust, confidence, and sisterhood from the first day.
Our guides and porters were incredibly caring and professional, uplifting us on the harder days. The Annapurna scenery was beautiful, but the support and connection we all shared made it so much more.
Indira and the entire team were kind and organized all the way through. They don't just set up treks; they build experiences. I will carry the beautiful memories with gratitude, and I am already so excited for my next trek in 2027.

We joined the Women-Only Annapurna Base Camp Trek in October 2025 without knowing exactly what to expect, but it quickly became one of the most rewarding journeys we have ever taken. From the warm welcome in Kathmandu, we felt comfortable, relaxed and well looked after.
The female guide and porter team impressed us with their quiet strength, patience, and genuine care. Each day was well paced, allowing us to enjoy the mountains while feeling supported at all times. Reaching Annapurna Base Camp was a proud moment, but just as meaningful were the small moments along the trail sharing tea, laughter and encouragement.
The trip was smoothly organized by Indira and her team, giving us the freedom to fully enjoy the experience. We returned home feeling stronger, inspired and already talking about coming back soon.
