Summit day starts in the early hours, with a planned departure around 1:00 AM, depending on the weather. The climb begins with a steep, rocky ascent, where fixed ropes are used for safety. After approximately three hours of steady climbing, you’ll reach Crampon Point at around 5,700 meters. Here, you’ll gear up with crampons and rope up for the more technical section of the climb.

From Crampon Point, the route becomes increasingly challenging. Our Sherpa team will take the lead, fixing ropes on the steeper, icy sections as we make our way toward the summit. This part of the ascent takes an additional 3 to 4 hours, with the total climb time to the summit ranging between 6 and 7 hours.

Reaching the summit of Lobuche East Peak is a triumphant moment, offering sweeping views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and other Himalayan peaks. After taking time to celebrate and soak in the incredible scenery, we will begin the careful descent back down. Instead of returning to High Camp, we will continue our descent to Thukla, where we will rest for the night, reflecting on the day’s achievements.
