Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, a friendly representative from Himalayan Dream Team will greet you and escort you to your hotel. After settling in, you’ll enjoy a warm welcome dinner with some of our team members, featuring a traditional Nepalese feast. Start with a short but scenic flight to Pokhara, where you’ll enjoy stunning views of the Langtang, Manaslu, and Annapurna mountain ranges. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax by the peaceful Phewa Lake. Pokhara’s lakeside area comes alive on Christmas Eve with festive decorations, special events, and celebratory programs. Both locals and tourists gather to enjoy the festivities, including vibrant street performances and live music.

After breakfast, a short drive takes you to Nayapul, the starting point of your trek. The initial walk leads you through charming villages like Birethanti, where you'll witness the harmonious blend of local cultures and traditions. As you continue, you'll trek through subtropical forests, cross the Modi Khola (river) on a suspension bridge, and gradually ascend to the village of Tikhedhunga. From here, prepare for the challenging climb up the steep Ulleri Hill, where thousands of stone steps test your endurance. Your efforts will be rewarded with breathtaking views and a sense of accomplishment upon reaching Ulleri.

Today’s trek takes you through beautiful rhododendron forests and traditional villages as you ascend towards Ghorepani. Once an important rest stop for traders, Ghorepani has become a popular destination for trekkers. Divided into upper and lower sections, the village offers stunning mountain views of Annapurna South and Nilgiri. As you reach higher altitudes, the crisp mountain air and chilly evening temperatures will remind you that you’re nearing the heart of the Himalayas. Explore the local shops and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere in preparation for the days ahead.

Today promises to be a highlight of your adventure as we trek to Poon Hill, one of the most iconic viewpoints in the Annapurna region. We start early in the morning, hiking along a steep but rewarding trail to reach the summit of Poon Hill (3,210m). Here, we are treated to a breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas, illuminating the snow-capped peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri, along with spectacular views of the Mustang and Pokhara valleys. The sight of more than 20 towering mountains glowing in the morning light is simply unforgettable.
After soaking in the views and enjoying a warm cup of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate, we descend back to Ghorepani for breakfast. Post-breakfast, we continue trekking eastward, ascending a nearby ridge and descending through enchanting rhododendron forests. The trail is filled with the sounds of nature, including spectacular waterfalls, before we reach the tranquil village of Tadapani, where we will rest for the night.

After a hearty breakfast, we set off on a scenic 4-hour trek to Ghandruk, one of the largest and most fascinating Gurung villages in the region. Known for its traditional stone houses and vibrant culture, Ghandruk offers a close-up view of the majestic Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and Himchuli mountains.

In the afternoon, we’ll explore the village and visit the charming local museum, which provides insight into the culture and history of the Gurung people, including the role of Gorkha soldiers. Ghandruk’s warm hospitality, combined with its stunning mountain backdrop, makes it a memorable stop on our journey.

Today marks the end of our trekking adventure as we descend from Ghandruk to Nayapul. The trail winds downhill through stone-paved paths, passing terraced farmlands and charming mountain villages. As we follow the steady decline, we make our way toward the Modi Khola river valley, surrounded by lush greenery and serene landscapes. The descent is long and feels like a "downhill marathon," but the picturesque views make every step worthwhile.

Upon reaching Birethanti, we take a brief rest before continuing for a short half-hour walk to Nayapul, where our trekking journey comes to an end. From Nayapul, we board a vehicle for a scenic drive back to Pokhara, where we can relax and reflect on the incredible memories of the trek. Enjoy your evening in Pokhara, perhaps with a well-deserved meal by the lakeside, surrounded by the beauty of the Annapurna range.

Known as the "Lake City," Pokhara is one of the most picturesque spots in Nepal, offering stunning views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, and the Annapurna range. Start your day by visiting the serene Phewa Lake, where you can enjoy activities like fishing, boating, or simply relaxing by the lakeside. Our sightseeing includes visits to Devi's Fall, a captivating waterfall, and Gupteshwar Gufa (Shiva Cave), a fascinating underground cave dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Afterward, we explore Pokhara's vibrant marketplaces and old bazaars, where you can shop for souvenirs and experience local culture. In the evening, unwind and take a leisurely stroll around the lakeside area, soaking in the beauty of the surrounding landscape and reflecting on your adventures.

After an early breakfast, we start our scenic drive to Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Asia's best wildlife reserves. En route, enjoy beautiful countryside views. Upon arrival, you'll check in at a comfortable resort, followed by lunch.

In the evening, prepare to ring in the New Year with a special celebration. Relax in the serene surroundings of the resort and enjoy the vibrant ambiance as we welcome the New Year in this stunning natural paradise.
