Himalayan Dream Team will pick you up at the international airport in Kathmandu for your transfer to the hotel. As a welcome you will have a typical Nepalese dinner with some of the staff members. Learn about momo's and Dal bhat and do not forget to try our typical Nepalese drink with great mood of cheers.

After breakfast, we'll take you on a tour of Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Stupa, and Boudhanath Stupa, all UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Durbar Square offers insights into the lives of royals in ancient times. Pashupatinath Temple holds great significance as a pilgrimage site for Hindus. Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, and Boudhanath Stupa, one of the world's largest stupas, are both iconic landmarks.

Start your day with a relaxing breakfast at your hotel before heading to the domestic airport for a short, scenic 25-minute flight to Pokhara. This flight offers breathtaking aerial views of the majestic Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre mountain ranges that encircle the lush Pokhara valley. Upon landing, a representative from our team will be there to welcome you and transfer you to your hotel.

Pokhara, often called the "City of Lakes," is famed for its stunning vistas of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, and the towering peaks of Annapurna. The city is the gateway to numerous treks and adventures in the Himalayas. In the afternoon, enjoy a peaceful boat ride on the serene Fewa Lake, the most accessible and picturesque of Pokhara's lakes. Take your time to explore the lakeside area, relax, and enjoy a meal by the water. As the day winds down, stroll through the vibrant lakeside streets, filled with colorful shops and a lively atmosphere, perfect for some evening shopping.

Today marks the beginning of our exciting 4WD Jeep tour to Mustang. After enjoying breakfast at your hotel in Pokhara, you'll set off on your journey toward the Mustang region. The route takes you westward, initially on a well-paved road toward the town of Beni. From there, the road transitions to an off-road adventure as you follow the Kali Gandaki River, which slices through the world's deepest gorge, nestled between the towering peaks of Dhaulagiri (8,167 m) and Annapurna I (8,091 m).

As you travel, you'll be treated to spectacular views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges, making the drive as scenic as it is thrilling. Upon arriving in Tatopani, a quaint town known for its natural hot springs, you'll have the opportunity to unwind and soak in these soothing waters—a perfect way to relax after the day's journey. Experience the local culture and activities in this charming spot before settling in for the evening.

Start your day with breakfast in Tatopani, followed by a jeep drive to Kagbeni. Along the way, visit Marpha village, the local market in Jomsom (2800M), and the Muktinath Temple (3800M). Muktinath is a revered religious site for both Hindu and Buddhist communities, symbolizing the religious harmony of Nepal and India. After exploring the Muktinath temple and surrounding town, return to Kagbeni for an overnight stay.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before exploring the Kagbeni Monastery and Buddhist School. After immersing yourself in the spiritual ambiance of Kagbeni, your guide will check your special Upper Mustang permit, signaling the beginning of your journey deeper into this mystical region.

Your drive begins by crossing the Kali Gandaki River near Chhusang village, followed by an ascent through a series of picturesque villages: Chella, Samar, Syangboche, Bhina, and Ghiling. Each village offers a unique glimpse into the traditional Tibetan culture, with stunning landscapes unfolding before you at every turn, especially from the vantage points in Syngboche (3800M).

This private tour is designed with flexibility in mind, allowing you to stop whenever you wish to capture the breathtaking scenery or simply take in the serene environment. Along the way, you'll pass traditional farmer houses, observe yak caravans, and experience the vibrant local life, all culminating in your arrival at the charming Ghami village.

you’ll begin an enriching journey to the historic city of Lo-Mangthang, starting with a visit to the revered Mustang Lo Gager Ghar Gompa, one of the region's most significant monasteries. As you continue, you'll explore the Charang Monastery, steeped in history and spirituality, before arriving in Lo-Mangthang, the heart of Upper Mustang.

In Lo-Mangthang, immerse yourself in the city's rich cultural heritage by visiting the ancient "Jampa Gompa," also known as the "God House," built in the early 15th century. Discover the "Thubchen Gompa," a grand red assembly hall from the late 15th century, and visit the "Chodey Gompa," now the main monastery in the city, along with the Monastic Museum. Throughout the day, you'll experience the traditional lifestyle of the region, passing by domestic yaks and cattle caravans, taking in breathtaking mountain views, and engaging with local culture through visits to a Buddhist school, traditional arts, the king's palace, and other vibrant local activities.

you'll set out to explore the captivating regions of Lo-Manthang and Chhoser. Your day starts with a drive to Chhoser village, about an hour's journey that might offer glimpses of blue sheep and other local wildlife. Once in Chhoser, you'll visit the village's Buddhist school and explore the intriguing sky caves—ancient formations that have piqued the curiosity of archaeologists worldwide.

These caves, some over 3,000 years old, have served as sites for burial, meditation, and even habitation. The SHIJA JHONG cave stands out, providing a deep connection to the area's rich cultural heritage. You'll also gain insight into the ancient practice of sky burial, still observed in Upper Mustang, particularly in Chhoser and its neighboring villages. After a full day of discovery, you'll return to your guesthouse in Lo-Manthang by jeep, reflecting on the rich history and traditions you've encountered.

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll begin your return journey to Jomsom, guided by the experienced team from Himalayan Dream Team. The drive offers a final opportunity to immerse yourself in the breathtaking landscapes and charming villages that make Upper Mustang so unique.

As you make your way back, you’ll pass through the picturesque villages of Tsarang, Ghami, Ghiling, Samar, and Kagbeni. Each village provides a unique window into the local culture and the stunning natural beauty of the region. At Kagbeni, your special Upper Mustang permit will be checked one last time before continuing the drive to Jomsom.

Upon your arrival in Jomsom, you'll be assigned rooms where you can relax and unwind after the day’s journey. Take a moment to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of Jomsom. Later, you can explore the bustling market area, where you can interact with the locals, browse through the vibrant shops, and perhaps find a few souvenirs to commemorate your adventure.

After breakfast, we’ll begin the final leg of our journey back to Pokhara. Following the same scenic route that brought us to Jomsom, the drive offers a chance to soak in the beautiful landscapes one last time.

Along the way, we can revisit any interesting spots or landmarks that stood out on our way up. The return trip is designed with flexibility in mind, allowing us to stop and capture photographs or simply enjoy the moments that make this journey unique.

Once we arrive, we’ll check into our hotel, where you can relax and unwind after the day’s travel. Take advantage of the comfortable accommodations, and perhaps enjoy a leisurely evening stroll around Pokhara, reflecting on the incredible adventure you've experienced in the Upper Mustang region

Short 25 min. flight to Kathmandu after which you will be transported to the hotel. Rest of the day for free spending.
